Last night Brad and I went to the movies. While waiting for the cheeseball sham account of the story of Esther to begin, we saw this preview.
A woman can still hope.
Batter my heart, three-personed God, for you as yet but knock, breathe, shine, and seek to mend; that I may rise, and stand; overthrow me, bend your force to break, blow, burn, and make me new. --John Donne

The picture of the movie on the poster is quite compelling...is "cheeseball sham" code for "only go see this movie if you have hundreds of extra dollars and multiple hours of free time on your hands?"
No. It is code for:
"only go if you have an affinity for bad acting, lousy special effects, tedious dialogue, bogus costuming, and total Biblical innaccuracy."
To quote a movie my kids used to repeatedly watch:
"[It's] so cheesy I can't watch [it] without crackers."
