handsome joe hanset comes home TODAY!!

This is a wondrous and amazing day. After three years of incarceration up north, Joe Hanset comes home today. When he left, his mother was addicted to meth and their living conditions were deplorable. No food, filthy house, men in and out the door, mother's mood swings wildly unpredictable... the usual.

Today his mother is in love with Jesus, has been clean for a year, and starts her full time county job (with benefits) on Monday. They are living in a stable environment as they prepare to get their own place to live. His little sister is on the honor roll at her new school and has a heart so full of love for her brother it shines out from her beautiful face.

The sad thing, of course, is that Samo is now in juvenile hall. Keep the prayers going for him. If he moves up one level he can have a pass for Easter, which would make this the first time their family has been together in years.

Jesus, look at you. You change lives and bring exquisite beauty to the ugliest places. No wonder we love you so much.
