Putting out an APB on Shannon Roark. She has also been known to use other identities, e.g. 'Captain Alphabet'. She has been MIA for several months without so much as an email or a post card. Yeah. Whatever. If you have seen her please contact me on this site.Because I miss her.

I too have been missing Shannon. We have a "Where in the United States is Shannon Roark?" map in our school room yet the last post card was sadly from Utah. Though I did get an email that she is in fact in Colorado....tell her the smith family school house misses her too!

This is very funny because I have been reading your blog too--though I don't know you--and really like the way you write so openly and share (e.g. migrane headaches from mothers...)and almost put a comment on there then didn't because I was too chicken. I almost posted about the outwardly beautiful blondes on your 11/05 post, but chickened out when I typed in a snide remark about my personal crusade to fight against the stereotypes of homeschooling ; )
I have come to realize that Shannon is certainly the person to make anyone feel brave enough to post...she is captain alphabet after all. Blessings to you both
